I think best when writing by a window or playing piano late into the night. I love to understand how ideas connect and how creativity ties everything together. Writing and music act as a tether to express my passions, from public outreach to mental health advocacy to fostering well-being. A multi-award-winning writer, my work has received recognition in the John Locke Essay Competition, the New York Times, the Bluefire Creative Writing Contest, among others. I am eager to join a university environment where I can commit even more fully to combining my curiosity over ethics, science, and humanity into rejuvenating expression.
